Overview

A circular walk around the vast expanse of Christchurch harbour. We start by crossing Wick Meadows and then climbing to the top of Hengistbury Head with fantastic views of the harbour and Solent. We then catch the ferry to Mudeford and on to Stanpit Marsh Nature Reserve. After this our route takes us into Christchurch and a second ferry back to Wick. Mostly good paths although Wick Meadows are pasture so could be muddy. Please bring CASH for the ferries (£2.50 and £1). There are opportunities to shorten the walk by taking a bus from Mudeford into Christchurch or a ferry to Christchurch Quay.

If you are intending to walk the whole walk, please bring a picnic lunch.
