Overview

We continue along the Thames Path from Windsor Bridge and alongside the Home Park with spectacular views of Windsor Castle to Datchet where there is some road walking, We pick up the riverside path again at the Albert Bridge and continue to Runnymede and where we will have a picnic lunch (and toilets) at the Magna Carta tea rooms. We finish this section at Staines Bridge where we can catch the Number 8 bus back to Slough or the train from Staines back to Windsor. Bring a picnic lunch and drink.

Meet on the Eton-Windsor Bridge. This is a few minutes' walk from Windor and Eton Riverside Station. If travelling by public transport catch the 703 Greenline bus at 09:33 from Langley, London Road, Slough Queensmere stop H at 09:46 to arrive at Windsor Theatre at 10.07. It is then a 5-minute walk to the Eton-Windsor Bridge.
