Overview

We walk through the beautiful ancient woodland of Burnham Beeches and Egypt Woods through to Wooburn Common. We return along the way marked Beeches Way. Some parts can of the route can be muddy. This walk has some gentle ascends and descends. Bring a drink and snack.

When we return to the starting point by the visitor centre in Burnham Beeches, we will join the 4mile group of ramblers for a bring and share picnic lunch. Bring a plate of food to share with the other ramblers. Meet near the information point next to the cafe, toilets and seating area in Burnham Beeches. (Please note that the toilets and cafe open at 10am) The First X74 bus from Slough to High Wycombe stops in Farnham Common. Alight and walk along Beeches Way and into the Burnham Beeches car parking area. It's a pay and display car park £3 for more than 2 hours.
