We will celebrate Jane Austen’s 249th Birthday with a pleasant circular walk starting from Chawton. We will follow in the steps of Jane Austen, from Chawton Village to Farringdon, walking through some beautiful countryside. There are some ascents and the area is bound to be muddy, if we have had recent wet weather. There are also some busy road crossings and some hilly areas. *** Please note this is a Moderate paced walk, so we will be walking at a reasonably fast pace.
