Overview

Our walk will take us from The Needles to Yarmouth on the isle of Wight.  After alighting from the ferry we will take the bus from Yarmouth to Alum Bay.  From there we will walk to The Needles, then up over Tennyson Down before arriving in Freshwater Bay (3 miles).  For our return journey, from Freshwater to Yarmouth and the ferry, we will be walking along the footpath next to the River Yar (3 miles).  If the weather is favourable we will hopefully be treated to some far reaching views from Tennyson Down!
