Overview

We walk from the Stone Circle via Tewet Tarn and the church at St John's in the Vale before picking up the bridle path underneath High Rigg all the way past Low Bridge End farm to the main road, where we cross over to Bridge End farm and walk underneath the other side of High Rigg and back to the Stone Circle.

The walk is on good paths and tracks, mainly over fields, with a couple of short stretches on quiet roads. The farmland will be quite wet underfoot after rain. There are wonderful views throughout. Limited parking so please car share if possible.
