We are the East Hertfordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A circular walk to the east of Sawbridgeworth via Oak Spring, Hallingbury Hall and Hatfield Heath on the outward leg. We return via Shrubbs Farm, Sheering church, joining the river Stort for a short length, Nursery Wood and back to the car park.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Our walks are relaxed affairs where weather, ground conditions, people we meet along the way, views, nature, and wildlife can all affect the time a walk might take, so our end times are approximate. So please bear this in mind when joining us on one of our walks.
Meet in Bell Street Car Park Sawbridgeworth in the first entrance near the pay machines. Free on Sundays. Sawbridgeworth station is a 15 minute walk away. Information about public transport can be found on https://www.traveline.info/
