This walk from Kimpton to Ayot St. Lawrence and back will provide C16th houses, spectacular churches and a crossing of the Mimram River.
We will walk north towards Whitwell before turning South to walk to Ayot St. Lawrence via Kimpton Mill and Hoo Park. Ayot has two churches, one ancient and one not quite so.
The walk back to Kimpton will be through some woods and open fields giving us some good views, weather permitting.
There is some road walking on this walk but they are safe quiet roads.
