We are the Lower Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A leisurely walk from Ninewells Wood passing Cleddon Falls and on through Cuckoo Wood down to Bigsweir Bridge. A flat walk along the banks of the Wye before reaching Whitebrook and beginning a steady ascent up through Manor Wood before making our way back along flat woodland tracks.
Leisurely - one short descent on several steep steps. Two stiles.
Packed lunch required.
From Chepstow take A466 to Tintern. Turn left at The Wye Valley Hotel following the Trellech Road all the way up turning left at the top opposite Whitestone Wood and continuing along the road until reaching Ninewells Wood Car Park on your left.
