We are the Lower Wye Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Start Time 09.30. A circular walk heading down from Devauden to Wolvesnewton Church giving expansive views of The Black Mountains and then taking a long climb back up passing through Kilgwrrwg Church up to Wern-Y-Cwm and back to the start via Chepstow Park Wood.
Strenuous - there are long sections of steep hills especially from Kilgwrrwg Church up to Wern-Y-Cwm and then up to the woods.
Stiles - 19. Some in poor condition or big step up.
Coffee & lunch break (packed lunch required).
Devauden Village Hall - lane to the side. From Chepstow head to Devauden and at the Common turn left off the main road and head to the Village Hall.
