Overview

The route takes in part of the valley of the River Chew on its way to the Avon at Keynsham, including Woollard and impressive views of the viaduct that used to carry the old Bristol and North Somerset Railway over the River Chew at Pensford. We then follow the Three Peaks Walk to Hunstrete, and then back to Compton Dando via Stanton Priory and the mysterious Stantonbury Hill.  Bring snack and lunch.
