Overview

We cross the Minley road to Hawley Hard and through MOD training area, heathland , conifer woodland and grass meadows to Woodside. We walk through some residential areas and back through Hawley Common to Hawley Lake and Lake Beach before returning to the Crown and Cushion. We leave promptly at 10am.  Please arrive in good time to put on boots etc. and for registration.  Please let me know if you do not have an ICE (in case of emergency card) or information on your phone.

There are two busy crossings over the Minley road.  Mainly flat with some minor road walking and crossings through residential areas.  Paths may be slippery with fallen leaves over stoney ground.  Could be wet and muddy in places after rain with some large puddles.  Recommend walking poles and boots.
