Overview

A walk from Datchet, along the Thames Path, across Victoria Bridge and the Thames Path to the Windsor-Eton Bridge. The return route is across the Home Park, back across Victoria Bridge and through Datchet Golf course and back into Datchet. There are refreshments available in Datchet either at the Community Bridge Cafe or Costa. The walk is flat, there are no stiles and there are toilets in the Home Park. This is a joint walk with Slough U3A.

Meet in the village car park in Horton Road, next to Datchet Library. This is a pay and display car park, 2 to 3 hours is £4 (Car share if possible) The meeting point is a short distance from Datchet Railway station. The Thames Valley bus no 5 from Cippenham, through Slough to Heathrow Airport T5 also stops at The Green in Datchet (09.19)
