Overview

While Howard recovers we can enjoy Dave Sidgwick's lovely walk from Whaley Bridge canal wharf car park.  The walk leader is Julia Mansfield unless Dave gets in touch to lead.  If you have any questions about the walk please call or text Julia on Tel. 07836 671439.

A very similar route to Keith's great walk from a few weeks ago, it's an 11 mile moderate walk taking us up to the Dipping Stones and across Whaley Moor with lovely views of Kettleshulme.  We walk around the old Moorside Hotel and on to Black Hill, Higher Disley, Seven Springs camp and cross the A6 along the canal to Furness Vale, up to Hockerley and drop back down to Whaley Bridge.
