We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk starts from Ecchinswell Village Hall where we have kind permission to park on the right-hand side of the car park as we enter. The route passes the War Memorial before joining the Brenda Parker Way (which can be very muddy), field paths and farm tracks to reach Laundry Cottages where a short break is anticipated. We then pass Watership Farm before climbing gently through Nuthanger Copse to the high point of the day just beyond Nuthanger Farm. The return to Ecchinswell Village Hall is via field paths and farm tracks and includes a gentle descent. There is one tricky stile to negotiate near the start of the walk.
Please bring sufficient food and drink for a mid-morning snack.
This walk is limited to 18 due to parking so car-sharing would be beneficial. Please book your place via the website link.
Please remember that this a country walk and that hazards such as loose stones, low branches, and slippery surfaces may be encountered.
Please park on the right-hand side of the car park.
