Join Clive for an evening walk in the Lower Swansea Valley.
We will visit Primrose Park then a few streets will bring us to the woodland of the Lower Swansea Valley Project (north of Carmel Road).
Crossing the main roads on Pedestrian Crossings, we enter the main section of the woodland project, making our way to Pluck Lake near Morrisons.
We then turn north through more woodland alongside the River Tawe.
Some more rural routes then return us to the start point.
Toilets: At end of walk in the pub
Stiles: There are no stiles on this walk
Terrain: We can expect to encounter some fallen trees partially blocking our way (We’ll go over/under them as appropriate).
Social after walk:
Afterwards we will go for refreshments to the Bowens Arms, Birchgrove Road.
Directions:
• Head east on A48 towards M4 J44.
• At traffic lights on cross roads before M4, turn right onto Frederick Place.
• Turn left at Railway Station sign to the car park behind the surgery.
