Overview

We will explore a new part of the Chilterns with beautiful rolling hills and woodland that has not been walked by Met Walkers. After lunch we will venture into more traditional Met Walker territory passing through Turville (where Vicar of Dibley was filmed) and then taking on some steep hills leading into picturesque woods and then into High Wycombe. We will finish at Mad Squirrel Tap room.

Please bring a packed lunch. Bring a headtorch if you have one, although the last section is through the town so should be well lit.

Travel: Take 09:02 train from London Marylebone, arr. 9:27 High Wycombe. We will then catch bus no. 40 dep. 10:00 from the main High Wycombe bus station (on Bridge Street) to Lewknor Turn Bus Stop A, arr. 10:26.

For the trains, buy return to High Wycombe.
