Moorland and river valley walk, going under or over 4 bridges, including the grade 1 listed bridge in the village of Horrabridge as well as the magnificent Gem Bridge built in 2012.
we will be passing through the Grenofen Tunnel built in 1859 by Isambard K. Brunel. You may well need a torch and maybe an umbrella walking through.
We will stop for a coffee break along the way.
Optional lunch or drink in the Leaping salmon Pub in Horrabridge at the end of the walk or bring lunch if you want to enjoy river views at the end of the walk.
Parking in Village of Horrabridge , near Church in Station Road or in Old Station Road.
Meet in Old Station Road near the top. 10 am.
Maybe muddy in places, tree roots and walking near to river edge at times.
