An easy 4.5 mile walk on moorland, passing Wistman's ancient woodlands, crossing the river Cowsic via a weir and walking alongside The Devonport leat .
Starting at the small quarry car park on the B3212, opposite the Two Bridges Hotel about 4 miles east of Tavistock .
Rocky terrain and several stiles.
If the River is too high to cross at the weir we will head up to Longaford Tor and walk back via Crockern Tor, the seat of the ancient Stannary Parliament.
We will stop for a coffee break.
