Overview

From car park we walk along a short section of road and then follow a grassy track west to Hill of Rowan.  We will climb a short but steep distance to visit the Maule Monument on the Hill of Rowan.  From there head north towards the cairn near Cairn Robbie and follow the path to Arsallary.  Continue to ascend Badalair and at the T junction go south to Auchronie.  Take the Old Coach Road back to the start.

A Moderate walk for people with country walking experience and a good level of fitness.  The walk includes some hills, steep paths, and open country with no paths and may be at a brisk pace.
