This walk provides the opportunity for two church teas on the one walk. Are you up for the challenge? We head off through the town across the railway then south and gently uphill towards Little Kingshill, where we will have a short stop for a picnic lunch in the recreation ground. After lunch we head along Windsor Lane and take the footpath down through the wheat fields to arrive in time for the start of the church teas at Little Missenden. Once suitably refreshed we restart our walk carefully crossing the A413 and heading north and west gradually uphill back to Great Missenden for our second Church Tea. Then it’s just a short walk back to the car park.
There are a couple of troublesome styles to negotiate near the end of the walk. The pace of the walk will not be fast so that nobody gets left behind and photos can be taken and views can be admired.
