This walk is designed to meet up at the picnic area and cafe at 1pm at Wendover Woods for a one hour rendevous with Mark's group from Wendover as part of the annual Chilterns Weekend Walkers Walks Festival. As part of the Festival some free cake will be provided.
Please bring a packed lunch unless you intend to use the cafe, but beware there may be a queue.
We walk through Tring Park, Hastoe, Buckland Wood, Lanes End and climb up through Wendover Woods to the cafe.
After lunch we continue in a clockwise direction back to Tring via West Leith and Terriers End.
A lovely walk with great views, especially over Tring and of Ivinghoe Beacon and Tring Park at the end.
There are a few steep hills so bring water to drink and hot weather will require more.
Refreshment afterwards at the Kings Arms.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.

The Woodland Trust Tring Park carpark off Hastoe Road just uphill from the A41 over-head bridge. We are not meeting in the Tring Museum carpark as the Tring Park carpark has longer opening hours.
