Overview

This is a 4.0 mile circular walk with a few ups and downs at a leisurely pace and suitable as an introductory walk and for members who either want a short walk or to combine it with the 5.5 mile afternoon walk from the same location. The walk will pass through fields and woodland on route to Wheeler End before heading back to Lane End where there will be the opportunity to join walkers from other CWW group walks for a picnic lunch on the common below Lane End Car Park. Please bring food and drink for a packed lunch. Walking Boots are recommended. There are several fields with horses so its only suitable for well behaved dogs.
