A linear, mainly coastal walk on the rugged island of Portland, with its true island ambience. Lovely in sunshine, dramatic if there is a gale blowing. Come prepared!
Some ups and downs, some a little tricky, with stony uneven tracks and paths. May be slippery if muddy.
Bus from and to Weymouth, and for shorter options.
Bring picnic lunch.
Sturdy footwear/walking boots recommended, and trekking poles would be useful.
