Hayfield circular walk - SHORT WALK

Turning right out of the car park we will cross the road to enter Chapel Street where we will climb up to Ridge Top Lane where we will turn right up a steep bank and into fields ( this is the steepest climb of the walk).  We then walk across the top of several fields eventually turning and coming sown to Maynstone Road crossing over the very fast Chapel Road to climb through paths and be rewarded by lovely views of rolling hills around us.  We walk down into the valley cross the River Sett and climb up to emerge on Kinder Road and then walk into the village and back to the start.  We will have our usual coffee stop at around 11am and possibly a couple of quick water stops along the way.  Total ascent is 1,350 ft.  Well behaved dogs on leads where appropriate welcomed.
