This is a circular walk starting along the river in Henley. The path is flat. Lunch will be in the charming village of Hambledon. I will book 6 places at the Stag & Huntsman in Hambledon and will offer these on a first come first served basis. There is also a cafe which is run by the local shop and toilets can be found in the village hall.
The afternoon is longer and takes us through the Great Wood where we might be lucky and see wallabies.
There are no significant hills or hazards but I will update you on these nearer the time one I have done a walkover.
Places are limited so booking is essential. Please use the email contact sheet to reserve a place and a pub lunch if you want one (limited to 6).
We will be taking the 10.08 GWR train from London Paddington. We change at Twyford and arrive Henley on Thames at 10.57. Please buy a CDR to Henley on Thames.
