Overview

Please note that booking is essential for this walk, please use the email link to contact the walk leader to book a place.

How to get there: 9.46 from St Pancras International, Finsbury Park 9.53 (I will board at Finsbury Park).

Where to meet: 10.50 Huntingdon Station

What tickets to buy: Return to Huntingdon

This is an easy circular walk beside the Great Ouse River. It is flat and will be a 10mile walk.

I could not identify any drop out points.

Lunch will be in the lovely village of Houghton where there is a pub, the Three Horseshoes Inn, and a café. I will book some places for lunch after I have done the walkover. There is also a National Trust tearoom at nearby Houghton Mill.

The final leg back to Huntington is through a nature reserve and attractive water meadows. At the end of the walk there are pubs and cafes should we need to wait for the return train.
