We are the Manchester and Salford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Irlam station through allotments onto Cadishead Moss, New Moss Wood, Chat Moss, Four Lane End, Astley Road, Princes Park (toilets/refreshments), Linear Park, back to Irlam Station. The route is over uneven ground along footpaths and quiet moss lanes, Likely to be muddy in places, possibly slippery, watch out for tree roots and brambles.
There are steps at Irlam Station. Will be crossing the busy A57 at a suitable crossing place.
