We are the Windsor & District Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A five-mile walk with no stiles passing Virginia Water, Obelisk Pond and Cow Pond and back via the Savill Building which has toilets and a possible coffee stop. We should see ducks and geese at Cow Pond plus a magnificent display of water lilies, usually at their best in July.
Meet at the map board by the main entrance from the car park at Virginia Water on the A30. The Virginia Water car park costs £6 for up to 2 hours payable by card on leaving the car park. The layby on the A30 is free until 11am and then £3 per hour payable by using the RINGO app on a mobile phone. Members of Windsor Great Park get free parking with a valid membership card.
