A circular walk at Lake Vyrnwy taking in footpaths, roads and forest tracks to see the Sculpture Park,Dam, Lake and Forest.
The walk has been amended slightly due to new forestry works making the original route inappropriate and to minimise any potential issues with Storm Kathleen.
The length of the walk is roughly the same but we now have 2 stiles on the route.
The walk is generally good under foot but there is a very short stretch with some larger puddles and the usual muddy quagmire around one of the stiles.
Please bring lunch and snacks for the 2 stops we will have. We propose to have "lunch" as the first break on the side of the lake because it gives a lovely lake view and then a further coffee stop later in the walk. If this is inappropriate for you please advise us on the day.
We do pass some public toilets fairly early in the walk but there are also some suitable toilet breaks planned.
If stiles are an issue for anyone that was coming for the original "no stiles" walk we can shorten the route slightly to avoid them.
Non-members are welcome.
