Overview

A circular walk from the Knapp (site of a motte and bailey), along ancient tracks, field footpaths and some quiet country lanes, to the site of the old Cothercott barytes mill and mine, returning via Church Pulverbatch to Pulverbatch. Fabulous views, weather permitting, up gentle inclines and descents. Expect mud in places if it has been raining, a couple of stiles and 2 or 3 shallow streams to ford.
