Overview

A walk across two large areas of National Trust land on the outskirts of Maidenhead. Maidenhead Thicket and Pinkney's Green were once part of the Saxon Royal Manor of Cookham.  The return route is across the common. Bring a drink and snack. It may be muddy after rain.

Meet in the free National Trust car park, Little Thicket off Cannon Lane, Maidenhead. The car park is not signposted follow the signs to Claires Court School. The car park is small please car share if possible.
