Overview

The walk starts in the pastoral scenery of Pangbourne, crosses into Oxfordshire and heads east along the Thames Valley to the old village of Mapledurham. From here the walk goes up through woods and pastures, offering spectacular views, to the village of Whitchurch Hill, returning via Whitchurch to Pangbourne. Bring a picnic lunch. Pubs and cafés available in Pangbourne at the end of the walk.
