Poynton Pool Car Park, South Park Drive. GR SJ 9245 8417 If the car park is full, there is also parking on the road alongside.10.00 am start. 9.5 miles. Easy/Moderate. To Lyme Park for lunch and back. Route - Davenport Golf Course, Poynton Coppice, over the Middlewood Way and the canal, Lockgate Farm, West Park Gate, Timberyard (toilets and lunch), Four Winds, Canal and Princes Inclines back to the car. No dogs, please but packed lunch needed. At this time of year some muddy/wet stretches are inevitable!
