River Lea - Tottenham Hale to Canary Wharf

Please note new end point and longer distance due to DLR route closures, but lots of drop out points.

From the station we head into the Walthamstow Wetlands before heading to the River Lea navigation, past the Walthamstow Marshes. We then cross back to the River Lea, past Hackney Marshes to East Wick, stopping for lunch at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. After lunch we return to the River Lea Navigation and follow it down to Cody Dock, where we stop for an afternoon break. The final stretch of the walk is along roads to the East India Basin before heading along the River Thames to Canary Wharf. Packed lunch recommended, though there is a cafe at lunch. There is also a cafe with cakes and hot drinks at Cody Dock.
