Overview

A strenuous but very scenic walk, passing through Denbies Vineyard to join the North Down Way and to the top of Ranmore Common with panoramic views. The route then leaves the North Downs Way to descend southwards towards Westcote before climbing again through dense woodland to join the Greensand Way to Leigh Hill Tower, claimed to be the highest point in SE England. Then down steep steps and paths to end at Oakley Station.

This is a very hilly walk so please bring poles if you use them and wear appropriate footwear.

Please bring a picnic lunch and plenty of drinks.  There maybe drinks/snacks available at Leith Tower. We may have time for a drinks stop at an  Ockley pub.
