Overview

A moderate walk to enjoy the rhododendrons and azaleas in Cannizaro Park and Isabella Plantation. Cannizaro Park is a Grade II listed park in Wimbledon with a fine collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and rare trees. From Cannizaro Park we walk across Wimbledon Common to Richmond Park and onto the Isabella Plantation which is renowned for its evergreen azaleas. Bring a picnic lunch – there are cafes along the route but they may be busy. Potential afternoon coffee stop. Option to drop out at Robin Hood Gate (~4.5 miles/85 bus).
