Route. Thompson, Dane Valley Way, Gig Hall, Danebridge, Snipe, Hanging Stone, Roach End, Clough Head, Turner's Pool, Neild's Farm, Hawksley Farm, Heatonlow, Heaton, Rushton Spencer.
11.5 miles, around 1850 feet ascent (Garmin gps).

Ground conditions mixed, no deep mud. Some metalled surfaces. Plenty of stiles. Poles may be useful. Some great views if weather co-operates.

Bring packed lunch but no dogs. No refreshments available en route but Knott Inn should be open on return to car park.
