Sutton Common and Minn-End-Lane circuit from Teggsnose Reservoir CP.
11.5 miles/18.5 kms (approx), moderate, with 2120 ft of ascent (OS app).
Meet at Teggsnose Reservoir car park at 9.30am. Access to the car park is at the end of Holehouse Lane in Langley. Please note this is a narrow road, and the car park is at the far end of the dam. Parking is free but there are no toilets. Additional parking may be available at the near end of the dam and also on the road in designated bays alongside Bottoms reservoir. This car park is not the same one as the one at Teggsnose Country Park.
The route: Teggsnose Reservoir - Langley village - Ridge Hill Farm - Foxbank Farm - Hill of Roosenclowes - Croker Hill - Golden Slack - Minn-End-Lane - Mareknowles - Wood Cottage - Withenshaw Lane - High Lane - Hanging Gate - Gritstone Trail to Bottoms Reservoir and the car park.
A mix of paths, tracks and lanes with mud in places. Expansive views guaranteed (weather permitting).
Please bring lunch and refreshments for the morning and afternoon stop. Poles recommended.
