We are the Manchester and Salford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Our Walk starts at Todmorden Station and we walk to Hebden Bridge Station via Cross Stone, Great Rock, Blackshaw Head, Hebble Hole and Heptonstall. This is a medium route following the Calderdale Way mainly on good paths and tracks .
This is a linear walk between rail stations on the Manchester - Leeds line.
The walk is dog friendly however there are some stiles and hence not pushchair or wheelchair friendly.
We cross some open moorland and there are a few uneven/ muddy paths along the route.
Although there are no refreshments or toilets available on route there are many cafes ,bars and restaurants at the end of the walk in Hebden Bridge.

Todmorden Railway Station, Rise Lane. The walk will start when the 10.04 train from Manchester Victoria arrives.
