This interesting walk rises quite steeply out of the valley from Todmorden and explores the tracks and footpaths between the town and the nearby village of Cornholme. On a good day, views can be quite spectacular over two counties.
As always Pennine walks can be very muddy and wet in the winter so please dress accordingly. Bring a packed lunch and warm drink to sustain you during the walk, but enjoy a reward in one of Todmorden's many cafes or pubs afterwards. We will cross moors and farmland with sheep so dogs on a short lead please.
Meet at the main car park at Todmorden Sports and Leisure Centre, off Ewood Lane and adjacent to Centre Vale Park in Todmorden. Public transport is available by rail and bus.
