Join us on this classic Teesdale walk from Langdon Beck along the river valley to the famous Cauldron Snout waterfall. The walking is mostly easy on well-defined paths and includes sections of the Pennine Way. There are, however, two stretches that require good balance and flexibility: a short section of the Pennine Way that crosses four boulder fields along the river bank at Falcon Clints, and a steep, short, rocky climb to the right of the waterfall itself.
We plan to have refreshments at the Langdon Beck Hotel after the walk.
Advance booking is required for this walk. To reserve your place, please e-mail the walk leaders, Miriam and John, through the contact box above - and remember to include your mobile number in the mail.
Booking opens on Monday, 9th September.
This is a joint walk with Ponteland Ramblers and is limited to 20 walkers.
