FULLY BOOKED
Departing from Kings Langley Station we join the Grand Union Canal towpath, passing under the Gade Valley Viaduct to Hunton Bridge locks for a brief stop. We go under the splendid balustraded Grove Bridge, and leads to the Cassiobury Bridge, where we leave the canal to enter the extensive and rather rural Cassiobury Park. A short convenience stop will be made at ‘The Hub’ toilets (at 4 miles) before completing the last 1.5 miles traversing the tree lined avenues of the Park to cross via subway under the Rickmansworth Rd into Watford Parade and High St. finishing in the town centre.
Train times: Euston 10.09, Harrow & Wealdstone 10.21, Watford Junction 10.30 arriving Kings Langley 10.34 (Freedom Pass/60+ oyster would only need to pay for single ticket to Kings Langley from Watford Junction).
Toilets at all Stations and also in Cassiobury Park.
