We are the Ramblers group for eastern Carmarthenshire. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Walking Well - Llandovery
Meeting at Llandeilo station at 10 am for car sharing.
Walk start point at Llandovery main car park at 10:30 am - Distance 3 miles
We’re walking through the town, then crossing fields and oak woodland to reach the historic bridge at Dolauhirion. We then follow the river back to town where we can stop for refreshments.
There are 3 stiles and plenty of mud - boots with good grip and walking poles are strongly recommended.
Sheep are in the fields. Dogs on short leads please.
A short stretch of road has no pavement.
