Overview

A great rural walk across three of Warminster's Hill Forts on the edge of the MoD land. We walk up and around Battlebury, Middle Hill and Scratchbury. This is chalk country and the flora and fauna can be magnificent. We also visit the site of a medieval village and pass some of the best examples of strip lynchets in the country.  A walking pole and a hearty packed snack/lunch will be useful.
