Overview

A circular route through Windsor Great Park along Dukes Ride, past the Royal School, Cow Pond and to the Savill Building. The route continues through the Valley Gardens and on to the 5 arched bridge and through the Millhill Plantation back to Ascot Gate. Mostly on tarmac paths, tracks and a bridleway. No stiles. Bring a drink and snack. There are toilets in the Savill Building.

Meet at the corner of Watersplash Lane and Sunninghill Road close to the Ascot Gate entrance to Windsor Great Park. PARKING IS LIMITED SO CAR SHARE IF POSSIBLE. If coming by public transport the Windsor to Ascot 01 stops at Woodend, opposite Ascot Gate. It departs from Charles Street, Windsor at 9.40 and arrives at Ascot Gate at 9.58.
