The route starts at Great Hucklow then goes onto Hucklow Edge, Bretton, Bretton Clough, Abney Clough, Shatton, Hope Valley, Bradwell, Little Hucklow, Windmill and then back to Great Hucklow.
This is a bit longer and has more ascent than some of our Tuesday walks but is not over strenuous. There is one long steep descent but on a good path.
From A6 take left turn off the roundabout onto A623 towards Sparrowpit. On reaching Sparrowpit continue on A623 for further 5 miles then take left turn onto the B6049 and follow signs for Great Hucklow. Start point is roadside parking in the village
