Tracks, paths and some quiet roads between Sparsholt and Crawley, then similar but different paths back.
A circuitous route to and through Sparsholt before heading northwards passing Sparsholt College famous for its many courses including agriculture and conservation. Care is needed at the first, potentially fast, Stockbridge Road crossing. After enjoying the smart village of Crawley, from where we do a 1.5 mile extra loop, we return to Ham Green via the second Stockbridge Road crossing, a bridleway and a track.
There will be short stops for a mid-morning break and lunch. Please bring all drink and refreshments needed.
Poles may be needed for bits of rough ground.
Please inform the leader if you are coming. If all expected walkers are ready, we may leave before 10 o’clock.
Car sharing is recommended, as there may be limited space in the lay-by.
