Overview

Once we pass the busy Winnall roundabout (using underpasses) the traffic noise will be left behind as we use quiet roads to reach Easton (coffee in churchyard) and Avington Park.  From there we use pleasant country paths (a lunch stop to be decided), to cross the Alresford Road and enter Magdalen Hill Down Butterfly Reserve.  We return to the car park down St Giles’s Hill.  There will probably be plenty of mud, which hopefully might be drying up a bit by then.  Two good stiles.
