We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Leaving the picturesque village of Micheldever, we'll head south through farmland and woods to the Alresford Drove, then turning west to skirt South Wonston. Turning north again, we'll have a picnic lunch at picnic tables at Sutton Scotney, before returning to Micheldever through attractive hamlets and countryside.
Some of the route passes close to the River Dever, so may be a bit wet, in addition to the seasonal mud. Bring poles if you use them. There are no steep climbs.
Please let the leaderknow if you are joining the walk, as we may leave early if all known walkers have arrived.
The car park on Duke Street, by the Lord Rank Playing Field. Usually plenty of parking available.
